We are bringing Max back to the Crossroads! The dedication of Max Ehrmann at the Crossroads is scheduled for: August 26, 2010 4:30 pm This event is free and open to the public! This dedication has been a long time coming and we hope to see everyone to share in the dedication of this sculpture! Art Spaces, Inc. and the members of the Cultural Trail Coalition are pleased to announce that Max Ehrmann at the Crossroads, a life-size bronze sculpture by noted area artist Bill Wolfe will be installed at the corner of Wabash Avenue and 7th Street, along the Terre Haute Arts Corridor and Historic National Road US 40, at the Crossroads of America. Max will be seated, writing, as he often did, gathering his inspiration from the vibrant life of Terre Haute. Bronze plaques containing lines from his most famous poem, Desiderata, will be embedded in the sidewalk near the sculpture and the entire poem will be mounted nearby.
